Mother Goose Laptime

Details: Introduce your child to storytime in this small group lapsit program. Learn about fun books, songs, and rhymes to share with your baby. Mother Goose Laptime is for children ages 6 to 24 months and their parent or caregiver. This weekly program is offered on Monday mornings at 10 or 11 am in the Children's Department Storytime Room. Tales for Tikes

Details: Join us for fun-filled journeys with books, songs, and flannel board stories. Tales for Tikes is a storytime for children 2 and 3 years old accompanied by a parent or caregiver. This weekly program is on Tuesday mornings at 10am or 11am in the Children's Department Storytime Room and continues for eight weeks. Preschool Storytime

Details: Join us for fun-filled journeys with books, songs, and flannel board stories. Preschool storytime is for children 3 to 5 years old, parents and caregivers remain outside the Children's Storytime Room. Rock-a-Bye Readers

Seuss-A-Rama

Details: On Saturday, March 7 from 10:30-11:30 am, the library will be hosting a Seuss-a-Rama party in the McGinnis Community Room. Stories, games, and crafts will be featured as the library celebrates the birthday of Dr. Seuss. This program is geared for ages 3 through 7 but all ages are welcome. Preschool Story & Craft Time

Details: This 5 week session of storytime's is available for children 3 1/2 - Kindergarten. A limit of 12 children in a class. Registration begins February 23, 2009. Pre-registration is required before session begins & can be done by calling 988-9050 or by visiting the Trenton Public Library.

Cows on the Farm

Details: Join us, on April 18, 2009, at the West Chester
Library for the Cows on the Farm Story Time. It will be a fun hour of stories, silly songs, rhymes and a craft. Come to see our surprise costumed guest! Can you guess who it is? Registration is required and begins on Saturday, April 4 at 10:00 a.m. The program is geared for ages two to six, but all ages are welcome.

Creative Critters

Details: Preschool Summer Reading Program Preschoolers will receive incentive awards when they complete the inside of their reading log with books someone has read to them. Children may listen to stories at home and by attending storytimes at the library. Children younger than kindergarten may register in-person starting on Monday, June 15th at 10:00 a.m. Registration continues through the eight week free program, ending Saturday, August 8th at 5:00 p.m. Visit the Children's Desk of the West Chester

Drop-In Weekly Storytime

Details: Children and their parents are invited to join us once a week this summer on either Tuesday or Wednesday morning for stories, songs, rhymes and craft activities. Weather and dew permitting, storytimes will be held outside. Bring your blanket and enjoy summer stories at your library. Rainy day storytimes will be modified to be drop-in crafts only. Storytimes are geared to children ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome.

This 45-minute event on Monday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. is geared to preschoolers, but all ages are welcome. Free tickets are required to attend, and will be distributed during in-person registration beginning Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m.
