Meeting Room Policy - Middletown and Westchester

The Middletown and West Chester libraries are the perfect meeting places for your non-profit group. As a public service the libraries provide meeting rooms in various sizes. The largest room seats up to 125 persons and the smallest seats eight.

ADMISSION

There are some regulations to follow when using the rooms. For example, since the rooms are free, groups may not charge admission, promote, or sell goods and services on the premises. If a group's presence disrupts library service, that group will be asked to leave the building.

SCHEDULING

If you wish to book a meeting room, contact the Middletown Library at 513-424-0659 or the West Chester Library at 513-777-3131. Written requests for multiple meetings may be required. Since more than 100 groups use the meeting rooms, weekly meetings are not permitted on a long-term basis. The library reserves the right to change a booking if necessary.

If professional cleaning is required, charges will be passed on to the responsible group. The library is not able to store materials or supplies from one meeting to the next; nor is the library able to receive material sent to groups using the facilities.

A kitchen is available for light refreshments, with food permitted in all meeting rooms. Each group must provide its own eating and cooking utensils, dinnerware, and coffee makers. The kitchen and meeting rooms must be left neat and clean.
