The Crout Collection In 2000, Mr. George Crout, an Educator and local Historian, donated 70 years' worth of collections to the Middletown Public Library. During his lifetime, Mr. Crout collected historical documents pertaining to this area - particularly Middletown - and also generated several articles and books himself on local history. The photographs, negatives, and slides of that collection are available for you here. To view the original written materials, please visit the Ohio Room of the Middletown Public Library.
