| The Crout Collection | In 2000, Mr. George Crout, an Educator and local Historian, donated 70 years' worth of collections to the Middletown Public Library. During his lifetime, Mr. Crout collected historical documents pertaining to this area - particularly Middletown - and also generated several articles and books himself on local history.
